1. The preparations
Look closely
Designing an engagement ring for your partner can feel overwhelming – but you don't have to go through it alone. We'll guide you through every single step and help you create a beautiful, meaningful piece that will be part of you for a lifetime.
A good starting point is to gather some information. If possible, ask trusted mutual friends or close family members for advice – they often know your loved one better than you think.
The ring size
Perhaps you have an approximate idea of your partner's ring size. It doesn't have to be accurate to the millimeter – even a rough estimate increases the chances that the ring will fit perfectly when you propose.
And don't worry if you're unsure: a free size adjustment is, of course, included with every purchase.
The style & the material
Most people have a clear idea of which metal color they prefer. Does your partner prefer yellow gold, white gold, rose gold – or platinum?
Friends or family members can offer valuable insights into your partner's personal style. Perhaps you know whether your partner prefers classic, understated designs or something more unusual and detailed. Such hints are often invaluable in the individual design process.
Tips for Brainstorming

Take a look at your partner's Pinterest boards or Instagram profile. Have any specific engagement ring styles been liked or saved recently?
2. Observe your partner's everyday jewelry

While diamonds are the classic choice for engagement rings, they are by no means the only option.
Some people love the timeless elegance of a classic white diamond. Others are more drawn to colored gemstones – like sapphires, emeralds, or other vibrant stones. And should it be a single stone or multiple?

Your consultation – in person or online
Once you have gathered your initial ideas, we will start with a non-binding, free consultation.
In this discussion, we will:
- Discuss your ideas and inspirations
- Review your budget and the resulting possibilities
- Develop individual design proposals
- Explain the tailored design process and timeline
- Answer all your questions
Design & Quote
If you decide to proceed, we will create a detailed design brief outlining the agreed concept and scope of work – along with a binding total offer.
As long as we operate within the agreed design brief, the stated price will not change – meaning no unexpected additional costs for you along the way.
A 50% down payment is due before work begins to cover material and labor costs.
Stone selection and 3D design
Once your gemstones are selected, we will begin designing around the gemstone. Using state-of-the-art CAD technology, we will create detailed 3D visualizations of your ring – allowing you to view the design from every angle before production begins.
Schedule
- The first 3D designs are typically completed within 1–2 weeks.
- Minor design adjustments usually take 1–2 days per revision.
- For the entire production process, you should allow approximately 4–5 business weeks, depending on when the final design is approved.
Completion & Collection
As soon as your ring is ready, we will notify you immediately.
You then have the choice:
- Pick up your ring in person at our Vienna showroom by appointment, or
- have it securely delivered by courier to your desired address – worldwide.
